Mods that have already been made with GUTS can also be quickly imported into the Steam Workshop. You can publish directly to Steam Workshop when you compile your mod, making it available immediately for others to play. The Steam Workshop is also fully integrated with GUTS, the in-house editor for Torchlight II. Torchlight II will then restart, synchronize them, and activate them before returning you to the game. In addition, when playing Internet games in the lobby, you will be able to filter modded games by mod combination, and with a single button click, subscribe to those mods. If you have yet to pick up Torchlight 2 but have an inkling of some interest in it, the game is on sale for $9.99 Steam until April 8.The Steam Workshop is Now Available for Torchlight II and to celebrate the game is on sale for 50% off!*Ī new launcher synchronizes any mods you have subscribed to, and lets you customize their activation state and loading priority. Mod updates will be automatically downloaded and installed once you have done so until you disable your subscription.

If you are interested in nabbing up some of the mods for Torchlight 2 (or any game) and haven't done so before, look for the Subscribe button to add mods to your game. The lack of a real endgame was a downer for some, as was the lack of a respec potion outside of fiddling with your config files. With the Workshop now open for the game, I'm hoping more modders get active with the game and making it more fleshed out past what Runic Games has done already. I really cannot stress how good SynergiesMOD is as someone who has played a whole lot of Torchlight 2.
